Your boat licence and registration fees have enabled an important boating upgrade in Victoria’s high country.
Goulburn Murray Water were provided with $250,000 from the Better Boating Fund to upgrade the Marshall’s Ridge ramp at Lake Buffalo in 2022.
The project included formalised parking, improved boat preparation areas and enhancements to existing dirt parking areas. Additional works were also undertaken to reinforce the foreshore area around the ramp. The upgrade has made it easier to reverse trailers down the ramp when launching and retrieving, has reduced queuing and provided better boat trailer parking.
