Boaters and facility managers are encouraged to have their say on how recreational boating infrastructure is managed in our bays.
The Port Phillip and Western Port Boating Infrastructure Review Discussion Paper is part of a government review into improving how boating infrastructure is managed across the bays and will be open for public consultation until 10 January 2020.
The Victorian Government’s $47.2 million investment in recreational boating improvements also includes removing parking and launching fees at public boat ramps and upgrading six boats ramps at priority locations across Victoria.
The discussion paper has been prepared by Deloitte, who were appointed to undertake the review in September this year.
The feedback received from the discussion paper consultation will inform improvements to boating infrastructure management options.
A summary report outlining the findings from the discussion paper consultation and the next steps in the review will be released early next year.
We’re committed to improving the boating experience across Victoria.
